ABOUT

You talk to the founders.

Saddle Tree helps a business use AI on the work it already does. A written plan, the automations, and the software. We are in Lexington. We meet nearby in person, and on a video call anywhere.

Why we started

Staff were already using AI. Leadership wanted to know which work was worth it, and where the data would go. The careful part in the middle was missing: sit down, write the plan, build the system, and stay. So we started a company for that.

Saddle Tree was founded in Lexington by JT Vines and Ean Lowell.

The two of us

Ean Lowell

Co-founder. Computer engineering and computer science, University of Kentucky.

Four years building with AI. Has started four businesses, and leads a production team of about 100. Builds the software and leads the people who work on it. Shipped production software at Hudl in Lexington.

JT Vines

Co-founder. Software and computer engineering.

Puts useful tools together into a system that runs. Builds it, tests it, and stays on the details. Works with the people who do the job so the software fits. Holds the client conversation: what the work actually is, what a person still has to approve, and whether we should take it on.

Where we are today

We are a new company, and we would rather say so than dress it up.

  • We are taking pilot partners. A small number of first clients get close, hands-on attention.
  • Support after go-live comes from the people who set the system up.
  • Nothing lives in one person's head. Runbooks, configuration, and history are written down.
  • The scope is agreed in writing before the work starts.

How we work

Honest first

We will tell you when a cloud tool you already have is enough, when a workflow is not ready, and when the answer is not yet.

Written down

Scopes, success criteria, runbooks, and changes are in writing before we start.

People stay accountable

The system drafts. Your people decide.

Present

On site across Central Kentucky. On a video call anywhere. We travel when the work needs us in the room.

Where we meet

Home base is Lexington. In person, that means Richmond, Georgetown, Nicholasville, Winchester, Frankfort, Versailles, and the rest of Central Kentucky. Outside that, we meet on a video call, and we will travel when being in the room is the right way to do the work.

Alongside your IT team

We work with your existing IT team or managed service provider. They keep the network and Microsoft 365. We handle the AI plan, the automations, and the software. When a server is part of the design, we source it from established builders and pass the warranty through to you.
